Dr Jose is extremely professional yet approachable and has an excellent bedside manner. He is very organised and follows up on tests/results etc in a timely manner and responds to any queries quickly. He is excellent at liaising with staff from other hospitals to provide co-ordinated care. I would highly recommend him to friends and family should they ever be in the position to require respiratory support.
I am grateful to have come under Dr. Jose's care whilst struggling with long-covid. He is extremely thorough and attentive in his examinations, reviewing my many results over the last few months, whilst also taking the time to explain my symptoms and then assisting me with resources for rehabilitation. Dr Jose is extremely personable, knowledgeable, experienced and professional. His communication every step of the process with my Dad and I, as well as to my Dad’s GP, has been fantastic. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Dr Ricardo Jose. He was so kind and patient while listening to everything I had to say about my lung condition that I’ve been struggling with for over a year. He asked me the right questions and after a couple of tests that were done on the same day, I finally got an answer and a diagnostic for my condition. Dr Ricardo listened very carefully to my history and reviewed all my notes. He then clearly explained what tests I was going to go through and the reasons. The tests were efficiently arranged. At my follow up, the output of the tests and treatment were clearly explained. After struggling with my chest for over 2 years, it was a relief to finally be clearly diagnosed to help more targeted treatment as well as helping me to get the support I need through my local NHS.
I rarely ever write reviews but I have to say Dr Jose was an absolutely wonderful doctor & support to our family at a deeply distressing time when my mum was dangerously ill with pneumonia and sepsis infection. He always made himself available when we needed & guided us through at all stages with his very deep knowledge base and with a real sense of calmness. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to anybody.

Dr Jose ticked all the boxes one would expect for a consultant with kind of experience he has. He was thorough without rushing things. Prompt with his email communication in case you have a query. Excellent doctor, who takes the time to listen and obviously cares about his patients. The treatment he gave me for my acute cough, which I had had for 5 weeks, worked almost straight away, while nine of the treatments given by my GP practice had had any effect. After the consultation, Dr Jose followed up through emails and was always quick to reply when I had questions/requests. I’m very glad I went to see him and even though I’ve had to pay myself (no insurance) it was really worth the money.

Dr Jose has helped immeasurably with my predicament having been misdiagnosed with asthma for 10 years and being totally miserable with an incessant cough . His care and knowledge have helped me improve my cough by 70 percent even in a 6 month period and he will support me as we work out how to improve my symptoms and life quality.
