Lung Health Check
A Lung Health Check is a detailed assessment of how well your lungs are working. It combines specialist review with breathing tests to help identify problems such as airflow limitation or airway inflammation, investigate respiratory symptoms and give you a clearer picture of your lung health.
Lung Cancer Screening
Lung Cancer Screening is designed for people without symptoms who may be at increased risk because of their age and smoking history. Where clinically appropriate, low-dose CT can help detect lung cancer at an earlier stage, before symptoms develop, when treatment may be more effective.

Imaging is not routinely included If Dr José considers a chest X-ray appropriate after reviewing you, it can usually be arranged on the same day as your consultation at an additional cost. Other imaging can also be discussed and arranged separately where appropriate.

Lung Cancer Screening Clinical Eligibility
Lung cancer screening is intended for people without symptoms who may be at increased risk. It may be considered by people aged 50 years and over with a significant smoking history. Completing this questionnaire does not mean that screening is appropriate for you.
